Documentation and pedagogical resources attached to of our AlphAI robot are regularly expanding. Last week, we put on our media a new video on the supervised learning algorithm “K Nearest Neighbors” (KNN) which is simple to understand, easy to master and integrated into the high school programs.
This video will help you prepare the environment and the requested software settings to run this algorithm on the AlphAI robot and train it to avoid obstacles. In addition, it contains a detailed explanation of the robot’s “training” and “test” phases. For this activity, we have provided the algorithm with 2-dimensional input data that can beviewed on our graphical interface to help you understand how it works. Herewith the link to the video:
